Dressing up the old gal ghetto style

Time for some new "ghetto" mods.

These are not for sale, just some new ideas that I don't believe have been seen anywhere. Hopefully this will generate some new ideas for your winter projects.

1. Covered knee bolsters
2. Covered speaker surrounds and Muddiman armrests
3. Made grips for the case handles
4. Made grips for the.... grips! (they have a foam core)
5. Made a bra for the fender - its vinyl and glued on with 3M Super 90 spray glue. You can really only do this with the Z-technik chrome tip (or other) so it holds down the leading edge.

Gotta love it when a guy can use his career tools to spruce up his toys. Looks good!

Now, putting CAT5 jacks and a router on my LT, it don't look so good <g>.

I've always wanted to mount a small flat panel screen on the back of my helmet so the missus can watch Oprah. She would then be in heaven - but its beyond my skill levels.

Anyone care to give it a go?

How about making a REAL bra and see if you live long enough to get it on CoverGirl.

Hell, she's already got one...! (and by the way it's going on E-bay tomorrow 'cause she NEVER wears the sonomabeach!) I'll bet your wife would love to have it up there in the great white North, eh hoser?

I'll give you a smokin' deal on it.

I like those pegs you got on there.

Any info on the clamps and such you can provide?

I would love to have fold up pegs rather then the J-Pegs I think

I closed my eyes after looking at the pics, and I could hear the soundtrack to Sanford & Son playing in the background. You should be mighty proud Ron.

Thank God for small miracles.

AAaaa....truth be told I'm just jealous. I wish I had your skills with fabric. I could think of a few things I'd do. More along the lines of custom tankbags and saddlebag liners though...

don't let HER see that post...I wasn't aware of this, but Sirius now has satellite TV service for minivans that allows the kids to watch a select number of "cable tv" stations (nickelodeon, disney, and a handful of others with more to come--hell, they probably already HAVE Oprah) real-time as you drive. Just a matter of time before Cooter can WATCH Nascar coverage in his pick-em-up truck on the WAY to a Nascar event...talk about a distraction, takes the "dvd player in the car" to a whole new level.

As soon as ol' Grif can get pay-per-view porn on an LCD Panel mounted on the front of his GT, the only time he'll stop riding is to re-fuel and swap tires.
