Removal of the speakers from the top-case is easy. However, the front speakers are a royal pain to get to. I had to remove almost all of the front body plastic and still had barely enough room for my fat hands to pull the speakers. It took 5 hours

Did all four. Don't know what you're asking, though.

How is it done? How hard is it? What speakers did I use? How does it sound after the upgrade? Some other question/advice?

Pick a question (or two or five) and I'll be happy to help.

that's my thread referenced above, Bob.

Drop me an email, I got my speakers from EBay, still have the vendor info...if you buy two sets and combine shipping it'll cost you under $90 for the four, and we can do the swap in probably 90 mins or so tops...can do it on a Sat am after 11/3/07 or a Sunday afternoon.

I've had mine runnin' all summer in Texas heat, and they still sound PHENOMENAL compared to the stock speakers...if you don't have an AUX set-up we can do that too while the tupperware is off...$40 for the antenna interrupt from Crutchfield and another $12 for the isolator from Radio Snack, I run my zumo and xm thru it, but I am guessin' you have some fancy-pants Autocom setup or somethin'
