Thumbs up Tip Wing Lights are fantastic

I installed my set of tip wing lights by Rider West this weekend. It took about an hour+. They are great! If you have the Saddlebag LED's, you'll love these LED's. They fit in the recessed area in the chrome tip wing trim and really ad visibility. Now I have running lights and turn signals on the front and rear and on the saddlebags and tip wings. They alternate flashing in sync with the saddlebag lights. The angle of the light makes it highly visible mid ship. The kit comes with everything and requires no Tupperware removal. You only need remove the chrome and black wing cover. (If you have J-Pegs or Bob's, they should be removed to make it easier) You could probably do it without removing anything if you have the patience to fish wires.

I've said before the Saddlebag LED's are great and these are the finishing touch, especially if you ride at night. Helps avoid the T-Bone at night.

Craig,

Those are interesting, but it looks like something else to bang my shins on the way they stick out???

They really don't stick out that far. My boots don't get anywhere near them. If they were flush, you would loose the side visibility. At night, they really show up nice.

Thanks!!!

Rider West is going to be at CCR, so may have to take a look at those. I would love to have the Saddlebag lights anyway.

Cool Ccr

Larry will have saddlebag lights and tip wing lights at the CCR. See him early as he gets booked up and sells out. He can also install them for you. (for a small, but worth it, charge) You'll love the saddlebag lights. I can't believe they are not standard equipment. If being seen is important to you, this is a no brainer! ....and a cheap farkle, that's cool to see!

Yes, I'll be at CCR with lots of Saddlebag kits, the new Side Marker kits, and Brake Flashers (look for me in Raffy's area). I'll be doing installs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (I have to leave on Friday this year--sorry). However, Raffy should be able to do some installs on Friday.

Crap. Looks like Larry's going to get more of my hard-earned money again at CCR!

Looks like another fine Rider West product, Larry.

If you have to ask, you can't afford them. And don't EVEN think of installing them yourself, though I'm sure we could find a beeg enough hammer and a can of Copenhagen.

The Tip-over Wing lights are easy to install--just takes a little time (the install doc is on my Web site already). By themselves, they sell for $30 ($25 at CCR). Plus, we're going to have additional discounts at CCR if you buy a Saddlebag Reflector kit and something else (then you can save $10 per kit).

Thumbs up New discovery!!

I went for a ride last night to try out my saddlebag lights and tip wing lights. Best decision I've made since the HID. When you hit the turn signals, both the tip wing and saddlebag lights come on together and then when they go out the front and rear turn signals come on. It really makes a statement that I'm here and I'm turning! I also noticed that while riding, the tip wing lights illuminate my boots and the mid section of the bike. I felt there was much more visibility from the side for those cagers that want to turn into you and ride next to you. I also like having some light around my feet instead of darkness. Thank you Rider West
