Severe Rear Tire Cupping

Severe rear tire cupping. Why??

New to the K/LT'dum. Second owner, first put a new tire on at sometime, 10,000 miles or so, I bought at 18,000 and have put 2500 plus.

Have ridden with two up mostly. Changed the damping rate when I do. Cupping occuring in center. Looks like a new tire soon.

Yeap I had to change my rear this season because of same. But what a difference when cornering with new tire.

You didn't mention which brand of tire you're running, Metz or 'Stone. if it's a bridgestone then 10k is about right with a Metz you should get more. Keep a close eye on your tire pressures should be 42psi front and 48 rear.

I run Metz. 45 psi front 50 psi rear checked religiousley. get 15,000 miles out of rear. 30,000 miles out of front. never had a cupping problem.
