Question CB Help !

My Midland CB turns on but does not have sound . I inspected all connections under the sting ray,cb antenna,helimt com system etc. I have 3 sets of headset wires they work fine. Stero,2 gps units,V 1 audio normal.

Any one experence this issue feedback please.

I don't have a CB for my bike; no intercom system to plug it into either.

Consider finding the wire that goes from the CB into your intercom system, and unplugging the connectors. Sometimes moisture can get in those connectors, oxidise the connectors, and block the very signal from passing through.

Plugging and unplugging a few times rubs the oxidation away.

I have electrical "contact" cleaner that I use.

Have you played with the squelch on your cb?

What type of Comm System?

Does the sound play when the Trans/Speaker connection get removed from the top of the CB?

2002 LT BMW system with CD.

Now that is a good idea I will remove that wire to see if I have audio at the unit.All controls are working.
