BMW paint

Hi Gang,

Does anyone know where to get BMW OEM paint? I need to paint my escapade trailer to match and my dealer has told me it's impossible to get. Does that sound right?

Thanks in advance,

Vince

Take a mirror into a BMW auto dealership's body shop and see what they can do for you. It worked for me when I had my Glacier Green RT.

Paint

Vince
It should not be necessary to depend on your dealer to get you paint, most paint supply shops today have a device that will read the existing paint and provide a formula to mix the matching color. Where I live here in Florida many of the body shops mix their own paint and also employ the same device to provide a match. It is a pretty slick device, all that is needed is a flat surface to hold the business end against for just a couple of seconds and momentarily it furnishes the formula.

Call around and find a shop that has one and you should be in business

Has anyone tried to aerosol a part or part of a part? How did it come out? Did you clear coat it? Any tips?

Sometimes you can get so fixated on the fact that you are right that you lose sight of the reality that it doesn't matter.
