Speedo Fix

Hey All
Trying to fix my Speedo error by taking apart and atteaching jumpers as per instructions found elsewhere on this site.

Got all apart and looked at back of Speedo. It seems my bike already has jumpers (0 Ohm) located. These look like factory installs. This bike has never been looked at before

These jumpers are located at JB and JC whilst there is no jumper at JD. I had assumed the speedo would need fixin'. Unfortunately I didn't test against a known source (GPS). This doesn't seem to fit the pattern on no jumpers - 10 % error.

Any ideas anyone ?

Thanks.

Sorry my bike is a 2001 LT

Smile compare it to your computer

Hi Neil , If you bike has the computer on it , the MPG , temp , speed , etc thingey . You can get up to a speed you like , maybe 100 kph on your speed-o, set the cruise . Then put your computer to kph ,then hit the reset . It will tell you your exact speed .
At least it works on this side of the border for us in mph , I would think it would up there too (;-)
hope this is of help ...patric ...
