HI, I have a problem with one of the front forks. It is leaking. Has anyone had the pleasure of repairing forks. Can it be done without the special tools listed in the manual? How much of the fairing MUST be removed? I realize the belly pan need to be for the support to be placed under the motor. I am trying to save myself some time and effort. And, the front brake is not contaminated,... yet!

I am doing this today as well since I got the wheel off getting straightened. Seems I bent it on a pot hole this past winter. Seal has been leaking for some time so it is overdue.

My wonderment is "what about the air pressure inside that can't be released without taking all the tupperware off to get to the top of the forks.
