Question Gas tank cover

Since I managed to scratch up my gas tank cover is the cover on the newer LT's any different than the older ones? I have a 2000 LTC and my part is black. The newer models 2005 + are the gray. I'm talking about ththe part where the radio mounts and the gas cap access door is.

That is commonly referred to as the "stingray". Most, if not all of the pre-'05s should match. I'd check eBay. (never mind. I see that's wher you got your pic. ) There's an eBay seller (deep6auctions) that may have what you're looking for in stock.

'Twas thinkin' if I was to buy the Ebay one pictured, I would make my bike look 5 years newer, but then I remembered the rest of the dash would be black!
