Clutch overheating?
Got stuck in rush hour traffic last Friday evening. For about an hour, went back and forth between 5 mph and dead stop. Outdoor temp around 80.
As traffic finally started moving I got the LT up into 4th gear when it got congested again. Bike wouldn't downshift below third.
I pulled over and waited for 15 minutes and all was well again.
Clutch overheating? Is this the price we pay for a dry clutch?
Anyone else experienced this? Is this something I should bring to my dealer's attention?

Better check Transmission oil.I dont think the clutch would do what you are describing unless it has air in the system.

No.
I love it when temps plunge down to around 100 here. No problems with the LT clutch in traffic and heat.
And NO--it ain't a dry heat during the summer monsoon rains.
Is this something I should bring to my dealer's attention?
YES. Your 06 is still covered.
