And for my next trick - Minidisc changer fit

Well I'm getting fed up with the loss of audio from the portable minidisc and cassette adapter. My trials with the CD head came to nothing because it is for the later bikes, so decided on a different tack.

I am going to install a Sony minidisc changer in the pannier and feed it from the cassette head. I have ordered and received an adapter unit which is meant to handle the digital data and audio. However, it is far too big to go into the space behind the factory radio so some more thought is required. I see no reason why it shouldn't work once I have the logistics sorted out.

Pictures and words later next week when I have got her all undressed for surgery.

Just pussin' through.

Why don't you just hard wire a MP3 connector to the bike and use something that will take the abuse???
