Also be sure that it is the drive gear that is moving and not the rear drive pivot bearings. This can be checked by holding the brake caliper as you wiggle the rear wheel. If there is movement relative to the caliper it is the drive bearing. If there is no relative movement at the caliper but the wheel moves it is the pivot bearings where the drive mounts to the swing arm. The latter is less trouble and cost.
I know I did not answer the question but mine does not move at all 27K on an 05.
