Baehr system non-connection

I have a fairly new baehr system that went dead on the driver helmet only. I have eliminated problems down to the helmet system in my helmet. When I hook up to the bike it does not make contact so as to turn on the beahr and the bike radio off. All connections appear good and reading out the cord with a meter shows the same pin continuity on both good and bad helmets. Anyone else had a problem like this?

Question

Are you sure one of those little pins inside the connector isn't bent?

I too have had that issue, traced it back to loose connector/pin contacts.

Two of the pins do nothing more than loop hot lead in on one pin, out on another to turn the comm unit on/off.

To cure my trouble all I did was solder a small trace of solder within all the female ends of one connector. This done with a small PC board type pen tip soldering gun.

Been issue free now for 2 years. When small amount of solder wears away from use and trouble happens again, an easy fix doing the same once more
