Trip Computer

Has anyone changed the units of measure on the trip computer? I would like to have the MPG, degrees Fahrenheit, etc. converted to kM/100L, degrees Celsius, etc. Is it possible without having a dealer charge me an arm and a leg?

Yes, you can change the measurements. It is in the owners manual someplace. I can look it up for you, but you will have to wait 6 or 7 hours until I get home.

I think I remember that the OBC can be user-calibrated ONLY to be more accurate with mpg readings - that procedure should be in the HoW pages. As far as changing the units of measure, I believe that is a dealer-only conversion. I'll confirm that as soon as I find my way over to the search function, cuz I believe we've had this discussion in the past. Stay tuned.

There may be more info scattered around the HoW pages, butt I did find this answer in response to a similar question: Click here.

HTH (or maybe not, if in fact you gotta go to the dealer! )
