Looking for LT

I rode an ‘05 LT several bikes ago and best touring bike ( had a GL1800 and Roadglide w/103 cc) out there. Took a break a few years ago after a bad wreck and finished raising my kids. Now it’s time to get another LT. The last one I bought came from a forum member in Baton Rouge. Doesn’t seem like many for sale recently here.

Prefer a late model ‘09 and willing to fly somewhere and ride it back if anybody knows of one. Probably one of my last bikes before I retire so looking for a good one.

Thanks I’m advance

Re: Looking for LT

There are a couple on the MOA Marketplace - LINK . I ran across a guy in Tucson that had a 2007 that was really clean and had a bunch of service done to it. I think he still has it. Very reasonable on the price.

Re: Looking for LT

I have two 06 LT's for sale and I saw an 09 on Craigslist in Phoenix. They are out there. Good luck with your search.

Re: Looking for LT

I've got an 09 with 13000 miles. New tires and I did full service this winter. Also removed radio head ( I use Bluetooth) to gain more space in stingray. Rewired for new Zumo 595 with usb. Haven't really put a number on it but if you are interested let me know. I live in NC

Re: Looking for LT

Not exactly close - 700 miles away - and not exactly a 2009 - it's a 2008 - but it looks pretty decent.

Re: Looking for LT

That's a great looking bike and he certainly seems to have done a lot.
Except replacing the old rubber brake lines. That would be a must do and probably detrimental to the ABS work he boasted about.

Totally.

I bought my 2007 K bike two years ago - a fly n ride. Bought it, rode it 20 miles to the local dealer, handed over the bike with a box of hoses from Spiegler, then started my 1500-mile ride home the next day. No way I was gonna ride that thing with 10-year old rubber hoses!
