I finally found my bike

After a long search for a K1200LT that was in good shape, I finally found one that fit the bill and I could afford it. I flew out to Sacramento last week and bought a 2007 with 30,000 miles on it and rode it home. It was a pleasant trip until I got to Rock Springs WY and hit rain. With poor visibility, I managed to hit a bad pothole in a construction zone. When I got home it needed a new front tire and when it was being balanced I found out I had bent the wheel so now I'm waiting for it to be repaired so I can ride it some more before winter sets into the Rockies.

Here is my new baby at the hotel in Tooele, UT.

Great color!
And glad that a bent rim is the only thing you experienced in the construction zone.

That windshield looks like a Cee Bailey's #2. Ours is a little shorter than yours & we love it!
I don't believe Cee Baileys makes motorcycle windshields any more.......

Great looking bike and nice color it's similar to mine, I have an 05. That windshield would drive me nuts though, it looks about as high as a Mexican wall.

For some reason when I look at the picture of your bike I keep seeing Bart Simpsons face.
