Vacuum lines

I was thinking about replacing all my vacuum hoses (2000 LT) and came here looking for a good source to buy them. In my searching I read that all the hoses going to the fuel rail end up going to the canaster. Is this true? and should I just remove those hoses and buy plugs instead since my canaster is in some landfill somewhere?

Yeah Brian, pull them hoses and the rollover valve. You can buy some rubber caps at any auto parts store. Word of warning: check the caps after a few years go by. The rubber can get brittle.

Have you pulled the tank on the GT yet?

Grif,
Thanks again. I was reasonably sure I could pull the wires and plug the rail fittings. I'd rather ask before I make a mistake! I had removed all the panels and some more just to see what was in there. But, I have taken the tank off yet. Thanks for the pic. I could take a pic of my bike and post it, but it would be easier for you just to look in your freezer.Looks the same. Brrrrrrr cold and frosty.
