Re: Abs servo issues
OK first off the brake fail does flash until you do the rolling part of the self test, then it should go out. If you have the triangle on steady and the fail light is flashing we need to know how fast is is flashing 2 Hz or 4 Hz. This bike has a self reset ABS unit in other words key off cycles do nothing. The failure needs to be corrected and as soon as it is the lights will go off on their own. Since it was only ridden 5500 miles in 14 years so I doubt it had the requisite brake flushes performed every two years. It is good that you replaced the lines and did a flush, do you remember how bad the fluid was when you did that?
Does the brake light come on when you apply the rear brake even though the servo does not?
I suspect you have a 4 Hz flash based on the fact that the rear servo does not come on. With out an actual failure code (from a dealer or GS-911 unit) there is not much more I can offer.
There is some news on repairs from over seas at a UK firm called BBA-Reman and they have an office in MA but that web site does not list the LT ABS unit by PN but since their UK partner can fix then they should be able to.
