Side case trims?

Sorry to have to run a thread here. Can't find the directions. How do you remove the reflector trim panel off the side cases? Thanks

Found this in the HoW pages. Scroll down to number 11 under the 'frame and bodywork' pages.

Reflector

If you are referring to the reflector w/in the chrome strip, get some dental floss started behind it and work it off.

You mean, slide some floss under the front leading edges and pull at the corner while heating it up? Heck, why not, so far I can't even get under the edges with a plastic computer shell tool. Thanks for the suggestion.

I gave up. Will let the body shop tape the stupid things up. I just thought it would be easier to remove and paint, then re-install. WRONG!!!
