2005LT

I have an ABS hard failur. High pressure rear brake, I purchase with same part number , it plug and ply

or is programming necessary ?

If it is the same part number it should be plug and play.

First, read through this thread and possibly try removing the pressure switch and manually exercising it to possibly clear that fault. Look at post 7 with picture by jzeiler.

LTs do not have the CAN-bus system like the newer bikes.
So, if it's the same part number, the ABS module it's almost an island on its own.
I replaced mine in 2011. Same part number, plug and play (well not quite, you have to purge the darn thing).
