Mysterious wires

I am trying to identify these wires.
While doing the winter tear-down maintenance, as I emoved the stingray, I found this wire that seemed broken from before.
It's 2 wires, white and yellow with a shield.
It comes from the intercom pannel on top of the radio and was wraped inside the left handlebar cover.
I looked in the Clymer manual's wiring diagram but still can't identify it.
What is it for you think?
While at it, what is the one connector with the cap on it?

Re: Mysterious wires

Google photos are notorious for failing to hotlink in forum posts. In any event, I can't see any of your pics.

Re: Mysterious wires

Just post a jpeg here using the "go advanced" and then scroll down to "manage attachments" . Make them smaller than 260 K and they will do just fine.

But in the mean time that line is likely a PTT line for a radio connected to the intercom, PTT switch is an option and mounts at the grip on the left side.

Stephane,

Assuming you have these pictures on your own hard-drive (or USB storage), you can embed them directly while Creating / Editing your forum post.

FIRST, make sure each picture size is NOT more than 1.9 Megabyte (equivalent to 1,900 Kbytes). This is quite large and would only be a problem when using high resolution mode from a good digital camera (roughly 3200 x 2400 pixels or more).

SECOND, when typing / editing your message, scroll down a bit to find a button available called "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" (see screen image below).

FINALLY, after you press this button, you will see a pop-up screen. This screen will allow you to "CHOOSE FILE" from your computer (any location). You can repeat this "CHOOSE a FILE" until done, then press "UPLOAD" blue button from same screen. Finally close this pop-up to return to your message

NOW the list of files attached / submitted will appear near the "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" button.

Use "SUBMIT REPLY" button as usual to see / check if you can now see your message and pictures.

It worked in my other post.
Unfortunetly, in this one, I no longuer have the "edit" option to modify my original post.

Yeah, a PTT might be a good call!
