External fuel lines

Iíve been educating myself on fuel line specs this afternoon to see if I can find a local source that will meet our psi needs so I can replace my lines in a week or two with the correct line. Found that the SAE working pressure specs in our 51 psi range are J30R7 (working pressure up to 50 psi) and J30R9 (working pressure up to 100 psi). So, it looks like I need to find some that has the J30R9 stamp on the line, correct? I know I need to be aware of the bends at the fuel rail, too.
Thanks

This is what I bought. I havenít installed it yet, but I believe it is the right stuff and right size. I would confirm size before you buy though.

Re: External fuel lines

While the factory lines have rather sharp bends in them there is ample room for you to route longer hoses to prevent kinks. You can transfer the anti-chafe material from the old lines. You will just have to mange the extra length so it doesn't get pinched anywhere.

Re: External fuel lines

Where you are, then the Gates R9 will do the job. Over here, there is lots of counterfeit Gates hose. I estimate 90% of it is fake and the price is a good indication of that. People are still buying it though "Because it's cheap"! I have found the hose that the Germans use as OEM and I can trace it all the way back to the factory. I now sell it and in the last five years, I have had zero complaints.
