Shock swap from CLC model

Hi Guys Can anyone tell me if a set of front and rears OME shocks from a 2013 or 14 from a BMW 1200 CLC will fit a 1999 K1200lt icon? I would not consider this but they are brand new and cheap. Thanks for your help

Re: Shock swap from CLC model

Even if they would bolt on, I wouldn't use them. The CLC is listed as 150Lbs lighter so neither the springs or the damping would be sufficient.

Have you refilled the rear preload adjuster yet? that can make a big difference in the way the bike feels and handles.

If you have any questions on that process, you can watch Kirks wonderful video. The adjuster service starts about 14 minutes in.
