Wiring to front turn signals

Just bought new rear mirrors to replace oem's. New mirrors have built in turn signals. Can I just splice them to front turn signals. 08 K1200LT

Re: Wiring to front turn signals

Yes you can with no issues. I have some cheap LED Arrows I got at WalMart years ago and I just wired them in parallel. You may want to install some small disconnects as the mirrors often come off for maintenance. You are going to tether these new mirrors right?

Re: Wiring to front turn signals

I Installed mirrors from China that had the turn signal arrows in the mirror. Wired by splicing into circuit and they worked beautifully. The problem I had was they mirrors themselves were so loose they would not stay adjusted. The day I left to head to California to do my coast to coast IBA run I adjusted one mirror so many times it finally fell off and bounced down the freeway. Duct tape fixed it but after I got home I bought another brand without the turn signals and they work great.

Still rolling in Southern Oregon
