Things that make ya go "Hmmm".....

I KNOW there must be a reason why, but I was caught off guard yesterday. There I was, coming back home from the snowy tundra of NY (actually it has been a mild winter so far but it was still COLD) after a holiday visit. I was on RT 81 south somewhere in WV and it was warming up nicely. So much so that there were quite a few bikes on the road. Except one.... (two actually since mine was still in a nice warm garage). But the one that caught my eye was a nice, bright blue LT.....IN THE BED OF A PICK UP TRUCK! Never thought I'd see the day.... But like I said, I know there must be a reason. They were northbound, heading to the cold so maybe the heated grips gave out or something.....

If they was heading north into snow country, the only way you would want to haul it is on a truck. My LT has only been on a truck once, and that was the day I bought it. It was -30 outside with a good 3 feet of snow on the ground. Out of curiousity I have taken my LT out and tried to ride it down our icy driveway in winter. With both feet on the ground, only going 2mph and having my kids supporting the side of the bike, I could still barely keep it from sliding sideways. The fat girl is wonderful on dry pavement, but she is a real porkchop on ice.

Huh? My previous 'LT has been on a truck once, too. Shot final drive! Therefore, you may say, being on a bed of a pickup truck is a design feature!

This is an easy one: The pickup truck driver wanted the ultimate ornament on his truck! Why add chrome, wheels, lift kit, paint, etc., when you can just put an LT in the bed?!
