replace the hydraulic centre stand

hey everyone. going to replace the hydraulic center stand soon. down in the garage, leaning bike against wall and blocking wheels to prevent rolling away.

any tips / tricks ? it looks to be a separate unit, might have to get rid of the bottom plastic stuff to be able to reach properly, is that possible without removing all the other plastic ?

Any input greatly appreciated. anyone around LA with knowledge about it is welcome to a beer or two while watching me sweat and slide :-)

Re: replace the hydraulic centre stand

I highly recommend jzeiler if a rebuild is needed. He made my 06 work like new...
