BMW side lights

I had been looking around on eBay and came across these door sill lights for BMW and when I looked at them I thought they looked like they might fit into the original ground illumination
positions beneath the tip over bar. Cost me all of $20 so if I get sick of them I can just pop the old ones back in.
What do you think.
