Looking For Photos of Rick Mayer Seats

The only photo Rick has on his website is of a seat on the 1200LT which has been built up 4 inches. Would any of you guys who have a Rick Mayer seat on their LT have some photos of it I could look at? I am also interested in having it built up about 1" so my legs are not so bent at the knees. Have any of you done that and if so has it worked out well?

Thanks.

There was an initial break in period but now I don't notice any discomfort, at least from the seat.

Rick Mayer Seat

Billy, be careful adding hight to the Rick Mayer seat. Because of the width touching the ground gets more difficult. I am 6'6" and did not think height would be an issue but I noticed it right away with the wider seat. I love my Rick Mayer seat.

Look's just like my seat. In time it will feel as if you are sitting on the frame rails. My seat is going back next week for 1-2" of padding.

Pic of my Rick Mayer Seat

I have attached a picture of the seats Rick made for my LT. Best addition I made to my LT. Wait I was suppose to say that in another tread. Anyway his workmanship is excellent.

I had a Rick Mayer seat on my 2002 LT and I was very unhappy with it, after a couple hundred miles the piping on the edges would dig into my inner thighs making the seat very uncomfortable and downright painful.
Did a "ride in" to his shop when I was out west, he added an inch of padding, wow what a difference that made I liked the seat after that.
Unfortunately I totaled the bike just a couple weeks later.

A few months later I bought a 2005 LT (7500 miles) with a Rick Mayer seat already installed, liked it a lot, thought it was even more comfortable than the seat on my 02.
Fast forward six months:
I've put almost 20K on this bike and the seat is no longer comfortable, it's doing the same thing the seat on my 02 did, I'm getting ready to send it back and ask him to add an inch more padding.

My Rick Mayer

Here's Rick Mayer I special ordered for my '01. I asked him to reduce the rider backrest to gain a bit of knee flex.

I'm due for a replacement as the right side seam has worn through but the repair can't be seen in the pic.
