Paint supplier?

I'm looking for a supplier of small quantity (1/2 pt or so) of BMW motorcycle paint for some small painting repairs this winter. I've done a search online, but a lot of places will only sell to professional paint shops or distributors. Those that will sell small quantities (I found one website that would sell 4 oz bottles - perfect!) don't stock all the colors. Naturally, my bike ('02 LT) is the ever-so-popular Toskana Green (Toskana Green 2 metallic, to be precise) that they don't stock.
Any suggestions?

The "Paint Code" number on the lable under the seat unfortunately is not really the actual paint number, but BMW's "Trim Code" for that particular motorcycle. If the dealer looks that up, it tells the paint number/chrome/etc. details.

The paint codes are listed in the HOW however, and here is the info:

51 91 0 144 571 - Toscanna Green 492

Paul - ping Dave Moore in the South Central forum for paint info. He recently painted a portion of Green Chile Pepper's top trunk and should have some particulars.

492 was what I needed. It looks like I can mix it. 1/2 pint is a lot and expensive, I can just about spray a whole bike with 3/4 pint. Do you just need some for touch-up?

492 is the color. All I need to do is paint the trim piece on a replacement mirror, and go over one small area that got scuffed up when the moron in the cage clipped me as he went by a *little too close* at a toll booth.
If you want to PM me, we can talk about quantity and price. Thanks!

Due to a drop I had scratches and gouges on the right mirror to my 97 Glacier Green RT. I took the mirror to the body shop of the local BMW (Zigler's) Auto dealership. They filled the gouges, matched the paint, and repainted the mirror. It was an excellent job. AND they didn't charge me a thing. Said the technician was happy to do something out of the ordinary. I took the bike by their shop a few days later to let them see the results of the job they did and to thank them again for their service. It might be worth a try. YMMV

I repainted a R1100R four years ago. Could not find a paint code. Took a piece of the painted trim to a local quality auto paint dealer. They shot the part with an analyzer and matched it. Appeared to be an excellent match.

How do you feel about those analyzers?
