Need toolkit for my 2006 K1200LT

Feeling a bit uneasy about riding with out a tool kit. Just picked up K in the spring. Heading to Quebec next weekend. Email to [email protected]. Thanks.

I can't speak for 2006, but my 07 tool kit was a joke. I think it consisted of a screwdriver and a little plastic tool to unscrew the radio antenna.

I put 3/4" foam in the bottom of both side bags and made cut outs for real tools. I posted pics here on the forum 8 or 9 years ago.

Thinking about it more, I think it was 1" foam cut out with 1/4" foam glued underneath with contact cement to cushion the plastic bottom of the side cases.

My '07 has a slightly less comprehensive tool kit than the one Voyager had on his. At least he had a plastic tool for the antenna. I bought a Cruz Tools tool kit and supplemented it with a pair of extra long needle nose pliers and a set of picks (see pix - the black flashlight is the OEM in the stingray, and the silver one is from the Cruz Tool kit), added in Indianapolis needed to fix the shifter linkage that had vibrated loose.
