K1200 lt radio question

Was the radio built into all of the 1999 model k1200lt?
I've no use for a radio and would like to be rid of it.
Are there trim pieces to cover the area where the radio is at?

Re: K1200 lt radio question

I am pretty sure the radio came standard but why would you cover up such a wonderful space to store things. Most who remove the radio use that space for other things and are happy to have it.

Re: K1200 lt radio question

Evidently, I asked the wrong question or phrased it wrong.
What do people do to trim out the hole where the radio is when it is removed?

Take a look
Kirk does a nice job of reusing the space.

Re: K1200 lt radio question

I think he means the part with the buttons and the display, neither of which is the radio itself.
