Question Fuel Pump Runs,and runs...

I've just done an extensive service on my 99 lt. I replaced all fluids, filters, plugs, checked valves, upgrade to new fuel quick connects. I also got a newer ('05) motronic with a Gemi chip and installed.

Put tank back on, did a tps reset, and the problem is...when power is to the pump it runs and runs..I pulled the fuse (box 1 fuse 4) and it still runs...switch off...it still runs. when the switch is off, it runs. Kill switch to left or right, yep...runs. I've unhooked battery for more than an hour, same problem.

Currently the power wire is not connected to the pump, don't ant to burn it up.

Oh wise ones, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There should be another connector near that looks just like that one. It sounds like you hooked up the auxiliary connector.

+1 on what Dave said. It is the same size and shape but has an orange wire instead of green. Oh and it runs the pump backwards too.
