Question Removal of tail light assembly

I give up. Sorry guys, but I searched and searched and can't find any info on removing the tail light assembly. Can anyone give me instructions please. I already removed all the t-screws on the left & right side but it seems stuck on the top. I also removed the top trunk screws also. What gives??

Thanks!

The only bolts holding the light assembly in are the ones inside the saddlebag lids. One long bolt on each side just inside the back of the bag toward the top. If you have removed them and the assembly still will not come out it must be hung on something or someone added a secondary attachment that you will have to look for.

...thanks! As usual I made a bigger project out of it. I kinda figured it out after staring at it for a few minutes.

For future reference, is there a way to delete the message before anyone replies to it? I was going to delete the message but didn't see any options for it.

Yes. I think the timer is 6 hours. When you come back to your post click on the <Edit> button. One of the options you have there is Delete.

Happy Thanksgiving.

...does it delete the entire thread or just my message?

I'm not sure. Since it is the first in the thread, it might delete the whole. I'll ask the other moderators and find out for sure.

Currently the the original poster can edit a thread title for up to 5 minutes. He can edit the post to up to 300 minutes (5 hours). I am not sure about deletion during that period but if the first post in a thread is deleted the entire thread will be deleted. After 5 hours only Moderators can edit a post. Again, if the first post in a thread is deleted, the entire thread is deleted.
