Quick Scan Mirrors?

For several years when touring two up I have been using additional bags from HelenTwoWheels that strap on the side of next to the top case and just above the side cases. Helen sells a special strap that goes under the top case and secures the bags very well. They work fine except the bags interfer with the view in the mirrors and I can not see behind the bike. I know some have suggested RS mirrors and I may try them. But has anyone used the Quick Scan mirrors from Saeng.com? They are the suggesting shield mounted version for the LT.

I have the quick scans. I would go with the RS mirrors if to do over again. The quick scans are pretty small and do vibrate quite a bit. I have mine mounted on the clear air deflectors. IMO, they're a good second choice and probably a little less $$.

Talking very pleased

i have the saeng mirrors mounted to the shield and have not noticed any vibration. The mounts that were great on the R1200CLC and were on the outside surface will not adjust for an outside mount on the LT. mounted on the inside of the LT OEM shield they are a little closer together then i would prefer, however they do the job great. They remove the blindspot and I am able to see the car passing me while it is still visible in the mirror. NO one can sneak up on me now. And coming back from CCR with extra bags mounted on the sides the Saeng mirrors helped. A winter project is the replacement of shield with a Ceebailey with wings that will separate the mirrors a little more.

99 cent stick on mirrors from Wal-Mart stuck on the inside of the regular mirrors let me see everything in both lanes right up to the rear wheel of the LT.

I used the Saeng mirrors mounted on the clear wings for a while. Wedged a piece of clear rubber hose between the wing and dash to all but eliminate the vibration. They worked well for wider angle and some rear view but they are limited when you have to rely on them exclusively.

Go with the RS or other mirrors you will be much happier with the results.

Good luck.

These blindspot mirrors are intriguing to me. Sounds like they are the same shape of the OEM mirrors, just stuck on top. Has anyone tried these?
