Re: Where to purchase the Viton Oring

send me your mail address and I'll mail one to you. <snipesb(at)cnw.com >
Do you need the tools for the job? 30mm cut out socket, flywheel lock, all the stuff made in the Clymer manual? If so, I can ship that to you and then you mail it back when finished. I send it USPS priority for about 15$, just put that back in the box when your finished and mail it back to me. If you have not read this thread, I seriously suggest you do:

Re: Where to purchase the Viton Oring

Just sent you an email.
As I mentioned in my email I got the tools from a few great members here on the forum
I know I'm late to the LT game but I think with all of the information here by the time I'm done this could be about the best ride for the money out there
(By doing it myself of course)

You might just be right about being the best thing out there for the money

Word from someone who knows. Make sure you unplug all the 4 sensor plugs on the left side. I forgot the bottom one and when lowering the engine, it stretched the wire and killed the temp sensor. Couldn't see that happening from where I was. Also, leave the reverser switches in place. The trans will come off without removing them. They are fragile and can be damaged easily.

Good luck on the job. Doing it yourself is always best as long as you or someone with you is good with a wrench.

As I recall, this is where I bought mine. I can't confirm as I am away on a business trip, but I am 98% sure this was my source.
