ABS lights flashing

1999 BMW k1200lt
So my battery went dead, took it out and charged it, went dead again, read the post about battery dying, and found the post about the trunk courtesy switched on. That was it. Now my ABS started to alternately flash and won't reset. I am guessing because of low voltage? Now with charged battery I thought it should re set. Has anyone had this issue? And is there a solution?
Thank you For your help

Johnny, there is a reset procedure for the ABS if you are up for it. Read the attached thread for the information. If you have access to a GS911, this might also do the trick by clearing the fault. I have a friend who has a 2000LT and the same issue. Going to try and do the soft reset this weekend for him first and if that doesn't work, will do the hard pin 21 reset. It is an older thread and I think the GS911 now does reset those faults so going to do that first.

Soft reset is using a tool like the GS911 through its internal software. It isn't cheap so borrowing one or finding someone close enough to come over or meet you half way is a possibility. At the time of that thread, I don't think the GS911 could do the reset for that but the present code I believe does.

Your profile doesn't list your location so no telling if someone is close to you.

Re: ABS lights flashing

Ok I sucsesfully ferformed the ABS ll reset! Here was my experience, first I used a digital volt meter for finding faults, measured 11v start then went to 1v 5 times(low batery voltage fault code). Next I was able to get the connector off the unit by using a screwdriver on top and push/pry if out while pulling the bottom out as far as it will go. I used garrage door opener wire(white/white-red stripe) solid copper. I used both srands to make sure I got a connection, twisted them together. I also found that I had an easier time with disasembling/installing wire in #21 when I pushed the connector through the bottom and worked on it under the bike in front of the rear tire. Other that that I followed all the steps and reset the lights.
thank you for all the help!
