Mileage for 05 LT

Hello,

What kind of mileage are you all getting on your 05 LTs?
My mileage is continually getting bad, now in low 30's. Any help would be appreciated.

On trips I get between 40 to 53 mpg with 44 being the average. Around town I get 38 to 40 mpg average. Best ever was one tank at 56mpg. Worst tank ever was 33 mpg.

I average 44mpg, just going to work and home.....on a 5k trip this summer I saw full tanks getting from 53-68 mpg. Recommend you take yours in to the dealership and let them run a few diagnostics on it....
Mine is an '05....11 months and 3 days old......22,577 miles.

I average about 38 when I get a good mix of highway to city riding. I always ride too fast.

Just to and from work I only get in the low 30s.

I usually pack double and average 43 mpg. My lowest was bucking a headwind on our way to CCR in Wyoming and cruising at 75 mph, where we got 33-35 mpg. When we're cruising at a leisurely 50 mph on back country roads, we can average 52 mpg.

If your driving habits are the same and MPG is steadily sliding down, it is indicative of something amiss.
Look to dealer for advice unless you are a decent wrench.

This past weekend, 450 mi trip, 47 to 53 MPG on interstate at 80-85 MPH (indicated, suspect true speed is a bit less). 54,000 on the bike, an '02. I always use 91 octane, and on this trip put some 93 in.
