potential buyer...

Hey guys,

I have an opportunity to pickup a '00 LT for a really great price. I'll be spending the next few days sifting thru this forum. But you might be able to help with one thing.

The current owner is much shorter than I am and not only has the stock seat set at the lowest height...but he removed (and subsequently lost) the bar used for seat height adjustment. Anyone know if and where I could find a replacement?? Or am I limited to paying dealer $$??

Oh btw... I'm 6'3" so some of things I'll be trawling thru the forum for is info on peg lowers, windscreens, hiway pegs.... ya know things made for loooong legs...

You could get it on line for about $45 from "ascycles.com" or "chicagobmwmotorcycle.com" if I recall correctly.
I have the suburban machine peg lowering kit(http://www.sierrabmw.bigstep.com/ite...5&PRID=1099938) on my 02.
I am 6'8" and get in there ok
I also have the stock BMW high windscreen and the seat up in the high position( I look just over the top of shield)

You will love the big girl just get her !!!
