05 K1200LT radio won't work

Hi.

It used to be just fine then it suddenly stopped working.

I turn ignition on, then the "ON" button is lit up, the others aren't. I push on, then all buttons get the back light. But no text comes to the display under the "RADIO" label, just where I am supposed to see the radio station. And I can hear nothing.

I disconnected the battery and re connected it (like I saw others did) but nothing. Any ideas what else to try?

Thanks!
Radu

I just did another reset while keeping the terminals off for longer time and now it works. Strange...

Yea. The radio on the LT isn't even close to being great. They always were troublesome. Like a few things on the LT. Not well engineered. The radio is made by Becker. Piece of crap. To bad it wasn't a Blauplunkt. May not be so bad. Way back.I sent mine to carphonics in UK where he replaced the amps with bigger ones and a aux jack. Now there are more options of replacement radios.
