Cheap key fob farkle

For those who don't like a lot of clutter and like to simplify things, i thought you might like my key fob mod. Very easy to do using the tools in the picture, and a key bought from Walmart or other places. Use the dremel to make a space for the key, buy a small screw and nut, and there you have it. A one piece key/fob for your LT.
Also makes it easier NOT to misplace the Alarm fob.

Cool, but I do feel a bit apprehensive about drilling through the fob. Not that something would go wrong mechanically, but, well, it just seems, well, I dunno how to say it it!

Re: Cheap key fob farkle

Your not actually drilling thru the key fob.. Your just using a thin blade at the top key ring seam to widen it a little so that the aftermarket key can slip into it. Then you us a very small screw and nut to hold it in. You don't get anywhere near the actual electronics.
