Think something is stuck on when warmed.

HI guys and gals
I've got a k1200lt 2002
Had service and front forks done awhile ago. Before that had my pads all changed to ebc hh.
From only getting it back after front forks and service I notice when pushing the beast into parking space using my let's something rubs and like kind of creaks thought it was front end as could feel it though the bars etc.
Up on centre stand I lifted front end to spin the wheel went round fine no issues. Discs warm to be expected.
Went to the rear that's rather sticky/stiff to spin .
Also hear a squeaking from the rear at low speed which stops if I slightly tap the rear brake.
I touched that disc it was bloody hot.
Any ideas would be of great help

Thank you all in advance

Have you changed the stock brake lines?

Re: Think something is stuck on when warmed.

I would try cleaning the rear caliper, may be some gunk on the pistons not letting them release. Best to pull the rear wheel, pop out the pads (note the orientation of the spring clip). Spray the piston area with a good quality brake cleaner. Then push the pistons back (you can use a partially inserted pad as a lever against the disc with the other pad fully inserted).

Then install the pads and apply the brakes to reseat the pistons/pads up to the rotor and see if there is still that drag. If so put a small hose on the brake bleed nipple and crack it to release pressure. If that allows free movement then you have a hose issue. There should be a slight drag on the rear disc but it should not stop it from free wheeling.
