wheel bearing source

2000 K1200LT. I need front wheel bearings.
Are those from All Balls good?
Don't think I need to spend BMW prices.

Re: wheel bearing source

I ordered a set off Amazon for a spare wheel although I haven't installed them yet. I think the 20X47X14 NTN is the same pictured in the MAX fiche. Listed part numbers and descriptions and price from MAX along with what I bought. Don't know anything about All Balls but I wasn't going to pay BMW prices for readily available bearings either.

Re: wheel bearing source

I tried the links for Amazon and both bearings show as unavailable. I have used All Balls before on other bikes so I guess I will try them again. My current bearing shed some grease on a 2600 mile trip I did a month ago. Nothing in the records I have show bearings ever changed so I will.

Thanks guys.

Yep, just checked also. Maybe I bought the last ones, I don't remember.

Re: wheel bearing source

I don't know about the States but when I needed the big ball bearing for the final drive FAG asked me 130 euro and a BMW Dealer in Athens, Greece sold it to me for about 87 euro. When I needed the front wheel bearings bought them from the local market at no significant cost.

I went back and did a search on Amazon for bearing and the sizes and they were all available at various prices.

Search for

Bearing 20X47X14

Bearing 20X47X20.6

Seal 30X47X7

There are plenty of choices available and some are prime.
