Exclamation Kevlar Mesh Apparel Poll

If you've bought, are considering, or have reject Cycle Port's Kevlar mesh apparel, please take this poll:
http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15460

I'm curious how many BMW riders are aware of it and what they decided.

Thanks!

Regards,
John

A buddy of mine has been using the non-mesh Kevalr version for 8 or 10 years now. It's a bit faded, but still works well.

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

I have a Ultra II Kevlar and Ultra II Air Mesh Kevlar suits from Cycleport. Both are great suits that provide great protection. I've been down in the Kevlar suit twice (replaced the pants first time, cleaned it up and still using it after the 2nd time) and it provided great protection. I used the Air Mesh suit on my cross country trip I took last month (5000 miles through 15 states from GA to WA and CA). I don't think I would have been comfortable riding in anything else.

Dittos here

One suit for year round riding in the best protection available is a winner in my book.

Use Ultra II stretch and Ultra II air mesh coats and pants. Both are coated with 303 protectant every couple of months or post washing. No UV issues. Great product and the air mesh is the only gear I can ride with over 100 degree's, low speed, on dirt roads.

The Kevlar thread is inside and not exposed to UV.

I have used the gear for over 2-3 years, other than the stretch hi-vis sucking up dirt and dust, great products. Other than leather gear in winter, I use no other synthetic gear. There is a post of a guy going down at 130 plus (rather stupid story) with motoport, only slight skin damage from where the gloves (leather) failed.
