How the heck...?

How does one get to this bolt without cursing and/or throwing items?

LOL. Yeah, Professor, that is a challenging one.

There are threads in the archives discussing how to get that one out.

I'll see if I can dig it up.

Addendum: I searched on "lift handle" and found this:

Re: How the heck...?

I have a lift handle in my garage with no bolt in it, you can have if you need one with no bolt in it. ;-)

Re: How the heck...?

Thanks CharlieVT for the link. I will try a few other ways to remove it and make sure the bolt gets back in , johnbaker15.

Re: How the heck...?

Piece o cake. You just need to have patience. Lift your seat. I break the starter force with a Γ type allen wrench. Then use a screwdriver allen the same size (I believe it's 5mm if my memory isn't tricky to me) with a balled head. It came out in three minutes. You bolt it on the reverse way. You just need a pair of tweezers or bended long nose pliers to hold it and drive in place.

A balled end 5mm hex is what I use.

Re: How the heck...?

This is what I use. Also helps to have small fingers and a good eye when reinstalling the bolt.
