K1200LT tires..

Time for new tires, I was looking for Bridgestone BT-020's but the local shop said they are discontinued, I looked at Bridgestone's site, and didn't see any tire listed for the LT, am I missing something?? Or is Bridgestone not an option anymore??

I found them on Bridgestone's site. Also here: https://www.denniskirk.com/bridgesto...prd/542908.sku

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Re: K1200LT tires..

The Bridgestone fitment guide:

Bridgestone Motorcycle & Kart Tires

I noted that the guide does not list the K12000LT models from 99-04.
These model years had a Bridgestone radial tire listed as proper fitment. I understand that Bridgestone radial is no longer available (unless you were to find some old stock).

My Cut n Paste from the fitment guide shows the bias ply tire for the 05-09 K1200LT. Many of us use the bias ply on the earlier bikes.

Re: K1200LT tires..

For K1200LT tires I recently found that e-TiresUnlimited.com
Still Carries Bridgestones BT20 & Avon Storm 2's

While their prices to me seem the same as a couple of years ago, at least there still is options. As the new Avon's are not receiving too many awards for longevity....

Anyone tried the new Shinko 777 HD tires yet? The rear has an 81V load rating
