K12LT Tires
I'm having a tough time finding new ME 880's for my 05 LT. Do I go to ME 888's? Help please.

I believe the 880 is now ME 888

I believe the 880's have been replaced by the 888's on the rear, but due to swing arm clearance issues, install a spacer.
A lot of guys like me with the '05-'09 LTs, mount a Metzler (120/70 R17 58V) in front and a Bridgestone (160/70 R17 BTO BWTL M 79V) in the rear and run 42/48 psi.... I had a Bridgestone in the front, but it wore out after 4,800 miles and switched back to the Metzler.

There is another option now for the rear tire, Shinko 777-HD which is made in the right size and load rating for the K1200LT. I ordered one yesterday from here, Shinko 777 HD Rear Tire - Motorcycle Superstore . At $110.99 it's a bargain that I'm willing to try especially since I can no longer find the ME880 rear tires anymore. For an alternative front I'm going to try a IRC Roadwinner RX-02 tire which is the right size and load rating, which I ordered here, http://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tube...otorcycle-tire , for $122.95.
