Recognize this spring

I am putting my bike back together after a valve check, spieler brake lines new rotors pads etc. This spring may or may not be a Lt part. If it is any idea where it may go? I know I need to keep better track of everything

Re: Recognize this spring

Hard to tell as there is nothing to reference it to (like a common screw or bolt). I don't recognize it right off.

Re: Recognize this spring

the only spring in that job is the one inside the valve cover that grounds it to the block. I am not sure its that one though

Re: Recognize this spring

Thanks for the replys. It's not the one on the cam bearing caps. The spring is about a 1/2 inch long and 1/4inch in diameter. I have about 1/2 the bike taken apart. This spring was on my lift table. I'm a little too messy for my own good

Re: Recognize this spring

you have ruled it out but the only spring that I know of like that is on the camshaft brg cap, so it must be a stray.
