Re: 2000 K1200LT Mayer Seats

I am out on this one. Just for further information for interested parties, only the rear is a Bill Mayer. The front is BMW stock. Both are heated though, something my bike is not outfitted for.

Gordo,

Sorry if you thought I mis-lead you on the seats....I discovered my error and told you in a private email sent to you.....having purchasing these seats from someone else on this forum, and seeing the Bill Mayer sticker on the seat, as the pictures I sent showed, I thought they both were.....as I said, having not installed either seat on my bike, I did not realize the error until after my post.....I did not purposely try to mis-lead you or anyone else on this sight... Also, the rear seat is not heated as stated in my earlier email

I hope you and anyone else do not believe there was any other reason for my error......I have sold many items with the help from this forum and believe I have a pretty good record as to correctness on items sold..

Again, I apologize to you again and to another member who thought differently

Regards

Re: 2000 K1200LT Mayer Seats

Frankly, I thought all of the 2000 LT's and up were wired for the heated seats. I know my 2000 orginally did not have heated seats, but the wiring was there--just a little hard to find. Especially for the riders seat.

No worries. I know you were not trying to deceive anyone. Just wanted any other interested parties to know about the error and that I was no longer in the running for them.

Re: 2000 K1200LT Mayer Seats

I have replaced my stock driver seat with a Rick Mayer and would be interested in the rear Rick Mayer seat, heated or not. I'd even offer the trade of my rear heated stock seat if that would help you. Please PM me if you might consider something along these lines. I also have the stock front seat and a lowered seat available.
