Centerstand Use Without Power

The '05 and '06 LTs can be put up on the centerstand even if there is a power/electrical failure on the bike. It's done best as a two person job. Put the bike on the sidestand. With one person on each side holding the handlebar grip and saddlebag handle, balance the bike dead vertical. The person on the right side of the bike (the non-muffler side for the non-Finn bikes) simply steps in with his/her right foot and drops the centerstand. While keeping pressure on the centerstand with that same foot, both people lift and pull the bike up onto the stand. It comes up very easily!

Here,s a challenge to you all ,who can design a bolt on foot piece for when the electric stand motor breaks and spews oil out .
I once had an ex cop bike (r75/7) with the foot piece broke previously to me buying and the ex owner clamped a piece of metal tubing on to the stand which worked perfectly for years .
