New Alarm Discovery

During another farkle project I have the whole backend removed under the trunk . I remember in the past the folks who have bought a used LT did not get the alarm code for disarming the system. Well I found the six digit code on a sticker placed on the siren. Looked in my alarm book were I placed the other stickers that came with the owners manuel and other paper work for the disarm sequence. The numbers matched. Now mind you we are talking about a 02, butt I hope BMW did it for all years....Hope this helps someone...

Smile Code

Yep, I can confirm the code is also on the '06 model. I'm in there now sorting out accessory wiring and saw the number attatched to the alarm.

Be advised that that number is a "seed" code. It will not unlock your alarm, but if you take it to a dealer he can get the real code from BMW. The real code was on a credit card sized card with a scratch off cover.
